This months book club is another book by Seth Godin.
Seth Godin is a truly brilliant author and I am a huge fan of his. There that’s the obvious bit out of the way.
This book is only a short read. A very short read (only 103 pages long).
But despite this, each page is filled with hugely interesting and actionable information that will help you to move away from the view that some people are normal and others are weird and instead focus on the idea that to at least someone we are all weird.
Because we are all weird the focus should not be on creating products and marketing for the masses but should stand out amongst the constant regurgitation of sameness. This is reiterated in Purple Cow, but “We Are All Weird” takes this further by categorising people into tribal followers who are dedicated to a small number of brand unreservedly.
