All of the information that is gathered through our searching history, interactions with ads and even what we do on social media helps to build up a “digital image” of you that helps search engines to display appropriate products and ads for you.
It’s part of the reason that we see ads for products that we have just spoken about but not yet searched.
Conversational marketing has seen a massive rise alongside chatbots, and while the early iterations of these were selected from a series of pre-set responses, newer versions are using AI and machine learning to complete the whole conversation without any human interference needed.
Most people don’t even realise.
AI will keep improving.
